This website is intentionally data-minimal. We use no tracking cookies, no web-analytics tool, and no marketing pixel.

Server log files

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically records technical data (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser identifier) in server logs to ensure secure operation. This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after at most 30 days.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure operation of the website.

If you contact us by email or phone, your details are processed to handle your request and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is not shared with third parties.

Font embedding

Fonts are loaded via Google Fonts. Loading establishes a connection to Google’s servers, during which Google may record your IP address. You can prevent this by using a browser ad-blocker.

Reach measurement with Umami

This website uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that we host ourselves. Server: analytics.flaneur.tv (self-hosted, no third party).

Umami operates without cookies and without cross-site tracking. Only aggregated technical data is processed (page view, referrer, anonymised browser/device type, rough region derived from the IP). The IP address is not stored; it is used only briefly to generate a day-specific anonymised hash — recognition across multiple days is not possible.

No personal identification takes place; no individual user profile is built. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in a minimal, privacy-compliant measurement of the website’s reach.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
